To commemorate its 80th anniversary, House of Finn Juhl has launched the Pelican Chair in Sheepskin from the Swedish island of Gotland. This upholstery gives a unique expression to the chair, enhancing the sculptural design and showcasing its inherent warmth. Each Pelican Chair is entirely defined by natural variations in the sheepskin, giving it an authentic and distinctive expression that perfectly complements the chair’s characteristics.

True to its 1940 design, the Pelican Chair is manufactured according to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Its low wooden frame is richly padded and upholstered by hand in Denmark, and the legs are available in oak, walnut, or black painted. The supply of sheepskin from Gotland is seasonal, and therefore the quantities for sale are limited.
